        I have zero complaints about this hotel. At no point did I feel dread about having to go back to the hotel. On the contrary. I felt right at home the second we spoke to the front desk staff. The lobby does not reflect the quality of the rooms, don't feel discouraged when you arrive. They have a system in place, where you will get a set of new towels every day. They will be placed on your door handle. You may leave your old ones in a plastic bag outside your door. You may also do the same with your trash bag. A new one will be provided daily with the new towels. Actual cleaning occurs in intervals as indicated to you at arrival. You can skip a cycle if you let the front desk know prior. This made me feel at ease, because I knew when I had to tidy up my stuff before somebody came in. Also, you knew when you could sleep in. There are several coffee shop chains around. Of course, there's also eateries and convenience stores. We got into the habit of grabbing a drink and a sandwich at the conbini at night and just hung out in the lobby. I am now a fan of Toyoko Inn and can't wait to try out their other locations!

        The location is just good as. Probably few sends to the Subway station. There's couple of convenience stores around the hotel. Close to main area of Shinjuku. The room was bit bigger than I thought it'd be as business hotels in Japan typically have small rooms. It's close to Nichome and Kabukicho so I'm sure you enjoy the night out during your stay. The breakfast was good enough as it's included in you hotel price. When I come back to Japan, I would stay with them again

        Reasonably priced, rooms are cleaned every 4 days. Room quite small but able to move about. Room amenities you get from reception counter (left there for you to pick & choose). Room garments (like all Japan hotels) provided near reception. There's also a microwave near reception. The downside is that check in is VERY LATE at 4 pm! (Otherwise, I'll 5*). Just 164 M from Shinjuku-gyoemmae-eki subway Exit gate 1

        Single room is a comfortable size for one person. Free breakfast with a pretty good selection of Japanese and Western options. Mostly Japanese guests but the staff spoke enough English to get me checked in smoothly. Room cleaning every 4 days. Check-in is a bit later at 4pm but seemed like guests could leave their bags if they arrived earlier. Neighborhood is quieter compared to other parts of Shinjuku but still plenty of stores and restaurants. Close to Shinjuku-gyoemmae and Shinjuku-sanchome stations, and about a 15 min walk to the main Shinjuku station.

        The hotel is very convenient in terms of location. The rooms are small but for short trips they just work. Breakfast are really amazing.
