This hotel has a lot of bad reviews but I honestly think it was very fine. We might have got a lucky room but the room itself was impeccable, the bed and the pillow were also above average which is quite important to me. The bathrooms were a bit cramped and definitely in need of renovations but perfectly usable and also included a bidet. The room had a lovely view on a crowded street so you definitely had a bit of noise coming in but it mostly stopped after midnight, and mind this, on a weekend, which also feels very fine in my opinion. The rooms were very clean, and cleaned daily, the concierge was friendly and efficient. And on top of all this, this was the least expensive hotel in central Madrid. I honestly recommend it

Great location right on the edge of where the shopping district meets the malasaña neighbourhood. So an endless supply of shops, restaurants and bars. Metro is right around the corner. There is a constant stream of loud people outside the window literally all night. The air conditioner didn't work, but we couldn't leave the window open because of the noise. The hotel has construction going. So some rooms are old and some have been redone. We know this because our first room was old but spacious. The toilet broke after the water was shut off all afternoon. We had to move to a refurbished room that was newer but quite a bit smaller. They didn't have a double or queen bed, so we had to have single beds, which is not ideal for a couple on holiday.

Ideally located hotel. In the heart of the city, the metro is very close and it is the airport line. The rooms are not new, the furniture is slightly damaged, the bathroom is not intact but everything is very clean. Furthermore, the staff is friendly and fluent in French and English. I recommend for small budgets.

Clean rooms I stayed in 2 different rooms. Try to be in deluxe category cause it is much better. Small kitchen New Fortnite Good cleaning staffs. Nice shower But I didn't like the normal stqbdatlrd rooms So old!!! Didn't try breakfast! Very close to supermarket
