We decided to walk up the Spanish Steps instead of down when we could. We might have to walk down next time when we're here again! Lol 😆 It was not too bad because the view was so beautiful and we had to stop many times to take pictures on the way walking up. It makes it much easier to handle. The views in the middle of the steps and all the way to the top are definitely different. Make sure you have to walk at least one time in your life if you are here.

When I first heard of this, I was worried I'd be overwhelmed by the massive amounts of stair climbing this landmark would require. I'm happy to report this is a very accessible sight-seeing destination that's worth your while. The sights are beautiful, the Christmas decorations are eye-catching, the stairs are a short and easy climb. And the history of it really makes it worth seeing in-person.

The famous steps, many tourists were relieving their tired legs. I was told there is a fine for taking food on the steps, but I saw many people were eating even though police were next to them. 😵‍💫 So crowded but so beautiful steps.

Tons of people. It is overcrowded. Everyone wanted to visit this beautiful place and take pictures. You can’t take pictures without people in the background. The staircases are beautiful. The church on top of the steps are magnificent. It is a must-see place when you visit Rome.

We visited during Christmas and it was very well lit. It was too crowded so we recommend visiting this place early morning if you want to click good pictures and enjoy the scenic view of this place. There's no entry fees for the same. Make sure not to consume food or beverage sitting on the steps as you might get a fine for the same.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.
