It's my 1st ryokan experience, and I'm very happy with it. Location: you can reach it from odawara st, using Tozan (T) bus, stopped at Obako onsen iriguchi for around 50 mins. Facilities: a nice yukata available for you to wear, a warm onsen and communal bathroom, clean room with Fuji-san view, a nice & comfy futon. Early check in is possible if the hotel not too busy. Staff is polite & helpful, once I forgot my phone after checkout, and he rushed to catch me, I'm very thankful for that

A family of 7 used it for 2 nights and 3 days. I wanted to enjoy my Hakone trip to the fullest, so I stayed overnight without meals, but I had decided that I was just going to sleep, so if you had the same idea, I think this would be the best accommodation, including the room rate! Although the building itself is old, it is fairly clean and the staff are kind, and above all, they do their best to help us and have wonderful smiles! Please note that those who want to relax at a lodging facility may not be satisfied. Also, although the industry is different, I learned about the good and bad points from a management perspective, such as how to use costs and allocate personnel. In a good sense, there is no waste and you can spend your time freely with minimal services. If you don't have something you don't have, call the number at the front desk and let them know and they'll bring you most things (spoon, etc.). The inside of the museum looked like a maze, but the children actually enjoyed it. Perhaps because I used it on a weekday, the bathhouse was reserved for private use, which was nice. It just doesn't feel clean. The hot water in the bath is whitish and cloudy, and the steps are difficult to see, so you need to be careful and are you suitable for steps? It becomes a joke because it betrays your imagination. If it’s sunny, you can see Mt. Fuji from your room! If I can stay overnight in Hakone without meals, I think I'll use it again next time.

Most of the staff seemed to be foreigners. The facility is quite old. The hot spring was nice, but only an indoor bath. The food is average. Might be good for people who want to stay cheaply...

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Refund amount may take 10 working days to process to the respective account from which the payment was made during the booking.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
