A nice place in a beautiful and relatively quiet area, quite well equiped kitchen and beautiful bathroom with a bathtub. However it lacks some basic features which were quite annoying to us: there aren't any place to unpack luggage. The main room needs desperately at least some shelves (there's a lot of wall space which could be used for this) and perhaps the kitchen area could fit a cabinet. The bathroom didn't have any places to hang towels to clean. There's one coat rack and a drying drying rack, but these were simply not enough. The bedroom doesn't have any light blocking curtains, so it's impossible to make the room dark. Because of this we woke up at around 05:30 AM every morning when the sun raised.

A bit far from the check-in center, but really nice accommodation. When you enter, there is a small and long kitchen. It is equipped with a refrigerator, range, induction stove, and pot. Easy cooking is possible and cooking utensils are also provided. There is a living room-like room right in front of the kitchen where you can sleep. There is a table for 4 to 6 people, so it is great for eating food or chatting over drinks. There is a "semi" open-air bathroom with a small courtyard in the middle. The restroom is on the left side of the entrance, so your privacy is maintained when using it. The bedroom is on the second floor, and I like the view of the river in front of the house. I recommend staying at least 2 nights, and parking is difficult for cars, so I recommend it to walking travelers. The surrounding market is very close, but the convenience store is 5 minutes away.

I chose this option because I wanted to avoid contact with people as much as possible during the coronavirus pandemic. The person in charge of my stay was very friendly and I was able to stay with peace of mind. It was a very convenient accommodation for my mother as it was easy to walk into the city and also had a washing machine. I would like to stay in a different townhouse again.

This was my first time using Machiya Residence Inn (Umenokian). Built on Shirakawabe, Umenokokuan is a nice inn that is more than enough for two people and is fully equipped with a kitchen and washing machine. Convenient location with easy access to downtown, buses, and subways. Also, the staff at check-in was polite and kind. I would like to stay again next time.

It would have been better if there was fittings between the dressing room and the bathroom. The staff at the check-in office had a wonderful smile.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
