Really enjoyed my stay here. The sound of the railway isn't intrusive, its kind of a dull rumbling that is easy to sleep through, they do offer earplugs. Room was a decent size, though a bit dusty. The main lobby was nice because you can order breakfast/lunch and eat there. Location is convenient given its close to the station.

Family of 4 - two teenagers and two adults - stayed for 4 nights. Beds very large, warm, clean and comfortable, and the shower was excellent. The train noise did not bother us at all, and was more like 'white noise' in the background. We did not need the ear plugs. Friendly staff, easy check in and out, and great location for railway stations, food and Ueno Park. Very happy here and we were sad to leave!

I’m glad we picked this hotel to accommodated us while we were in Tokyo for 4 nights(26,27,28 Oct and 3 Nov) Rooms are better that expected and train noises from above is not that bad. The rooms are great but services from staff are even better. They’re attentive, kind and willing to service you. Moreover, their English is excellent and one of the English speakers I talked to during my trip. I wish to be here again in the future(though unfortunately my next trip wouldn’t be the 3rd Tokyo trip.) Thank you very much. Room 007 on 3 Nov.

The room is well designed with great features, such as a refrigerator larger than most other Japanese budget hotels and a big plus is the removable laundry hanging cord in the bathroom. The decor is pleasant; they try to imitate an outdoor garden with fake brick walls and green plants. Upon check-in, you'll be asked to sign a consent for accepting the noise from the train above the hotel. You can naturally hear the trains but the noise is not excessive and we found it somewhat conducive to falling asleep, unless you're a light sleeper. You might want to reconsider staying a long period due to its lack of a window or natural light. It's trivial but they give the cheapest disposable slippers I have ever seen which ripped right away after use.

The service is very kind. Location is the best, a lot of restaurants, konbini, and shopping places are nearby. The room is very small, but furniture and appliances are placed so well that it still very comfortable. The train noise is heard nearly all day, but at night it's much less often. I'm a sensitive sleeper, but I have no problem sleeping at night. But in the morning, when trains are operating more often, I keep getting woken up by the train noise.
