Worst hotel ever. More like a motel and don’t take their photos seriously it is nothing as nice as it looks. Bathroom is tiny and they don’t give out shampoo & body wash in small bottles like they depicted. There was black shoe print on the bed sheet like somebody recently stepped on it. The AC makes weird & loud noises throughout the night. It has a restaurant downstairs which is super loud even at midnight and restaurant across the street also plays loud music - impossible to have a good sleep. When we asked for a new towel to shower in the morning, they told us they will have to charge us for that.

Pictures are deceiving. The room was very small, dirty mattress, bed sheets stained with blood. Pillows disgusting yellowish. We left the same evening after check in. Reembolse denied. Very disappointed.

My partner and I are doing a self-supported bike trip from Cancun to CDMX and we booked this hotel thinking that it would be like all the other hotels and motels we’ve stayed in for the past 2.5 months, who were lovely and accommodating for us bringing our bicycles indoors to shelter from possible theft and the elements. The staff was completely un accepting when we explained our form of travel and that we needed to keep our bikes indoors. They would not reimburse us either, so we were forced to stay. They were even quite sarcastic and uncaring. The room was more or less acceptable for its price, but the toilet made a loud squealing noise all night long and the TV didn’t work, the air conditioning dripped all over and the soap dispensers were trash. Water was hot and beds were clean though.

We stayed for 9 nights at Unic Design Hotel. The location of the hotel is perfect if you want to be close to 5th avenue. Though it can be very loud during the evening, when those street performers do their show. Since the hotel is attached to a fancy Italian restaurant, there's no quiet evening. We didn't mind and enjoyed the free show from our balcony. We had the superior room with a king-size bed, facing the 5th avenue. The room was big, but very simple. We enjoyed the space because we were traveling with two huge suitcases. A little fridge and safe was available. The air-conditioner worked 24/7 without any problems and the room was cleaned daily. Breakfast was included. The breakfast is a pre-set menu same for all hotel guests. You will have breakfast at the attached Italian restaurant. As a hotel guest you will also have a 30% discount on any items on the breakfast carte. You should definitely order something extra cause the food over there us just amazing. The pre-set breakfast is light and tasty. It contains fresh fruits, granola, yogurt, toasts, butter, jam, coffee and orange juice. A perfect start for the day. The hotel desk was very helpful. They were also able to arrange different tours for us. Nevertheless, there was a very awkward moment during the check-in, when we were given a smaller room than booked. After a little discussion and a phone call to the manager, we were finally given the superior room that we paid for. Another downside is that there's no elevator. Especially for elderly people that might become a problem. We saw an elderly couple having to change their floors as they couldn't manage to climb the stairs. Our superior room was on the second floor. It wasn't easy to get their with two big suitcases. All in all, we were very satisfied and if we ever come back to Playa del Carmen we would definitely consider to stay at Unic Design Hotel again.

Not Bicycle friendly! The room was acceptable though everything in it was verging on breaking and clearly poorly made ( toilet, soap dispensers, TV). The biggest downside however was the staff at the front desk. They were unaccomodating in every way and lacked any concern for our needs and comfort. Frustrating and disapointing experience

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
