Like other people's reviews, it's nice that the space is spacious and close to USJ... but this was the first time I've ever had such a disgusting bathroom smell. I was surprised by their rudeness, pretending not to hear even when I contacted them to ask for repairs or a room change. The floor cleaning is dirty, and the dishes in the kitchen are also dirty, making me reluctant to use them. It may have been good in the past, but the current management is the worst. The surrounding neighborhood also feels like a crime-ridden area at night. Even if you happen to pass through Osaka, you won't stop by here. I don't understand why it's rated above 4 on Google. If anyone goes, I really want to stop them. I felt sorry to my family for choosing this hotel.

I stayed at Universal Bay near the end of August for three days with my daughters during a two week backpacking trip. It was amazing to have the space to spread out after a week of rather small hotel rooms. We also loved being able to cook some basic meals and had the chance to catch up on laundry. There was excellent access to transportation, the closest train station was just a five minute walk and the aquarium was within walking distance as well. The location was quiet and felt safe, there is a smaller grocery store about a 10 minute walk away that we used during out stay. I would definitely stay again, it was great value for money.

Really lovely apartment. After staying at Disney for a week, this was a great spacious apartment for 5 of us, and we really enjoyed it. Views were beautiful. Close to the ferris wheel. 15 min by taxi to Universal studios (2,300Yen), train station a block away, legoland discovery 10 min walk away, as was the pirate ship cruise. Only down side was getting taxis. Virtually impossible on a public holiday. Took us 1 hr this morning to find one. We stayed here for 4 nights, and the other days we would walk around 5 blocks to get a taxi, and usually takes around 10-15 mins. Seven 11 was a block away, and a bigger supermarket 2 blocks away. Vending machine downstairs. Tea, coffee, creamer provided. Loved having a washing machine. Loved having a kitchen. Apartment was spotlesss, and we would definitely stay here again. Check in instructions were emailed to me before arrival, so i was checked in before arriving, with the door code sent to me, and the code for the safe to get keys. Was easy checking in on my own phone, taking photos of passports, and selfies and uploading them was super easy. So make sure you check in prior to arriving as there is no reception, and this will save time. Check out instructions were emailed the night before check out. Really happy with this service.
