        We had a very lovely stay at the uptown palace. We were welcomed by a very friendly staff member who took our luggage from us and guided us to the reception. At the reception was very nice staff who informed us about the hotel and Milan. They gave us tips about some dinner places. We even got an upgrade of our room which had the most beautiful view on the Duomo. The hotel itself and the room was of good quality architecture. Only 15 minutes walking from the city centre. The breakfast is of good quality for the price you pay. And again friendly staff.

        Rooms were okay, really could do with a freshen up. The bed wasn't comfortable, but better than other places I have stayed in Italy. The pizza was not nice at all, overcooked and bar drinks are quite expensive. Location didn't seem the best, like no nice restaurants around the area at all and a faff to get anywhere by public transport. Taps in the downstairs toilets were cold, when I used them before we left. Staff were helpful and we left our luggage on our last day when we went to the spa.

        Stayed at Uptown at the start of the year to celebrate mine and my partner's anniversary, upon booking we contacted the hotel to see if there was any possible chance of an upgrade due to the nature of our visit. They happily obliged and upgraded us to I believe the presidential suite. It was beautiful. My only slight complaint would be that the entertainment in the room felt lacking due to the fact the TV's are not Smart TV so you are kind of stuck with the Italian news channels. Which as British residents, wasn't ideal. But we also weren't there to watch TV so it's okay. Absolutely beautiful views of the Italian mountains and Cathedral Duomo. With great access to the Metro lines with another line currently in construction directly outside the hotel. Will definitely be staying again.

        We had two rooms one double one single but they mixed it up at the front desk. The rooms were both really small. It’s okay for a weekend trip but I wouldn’t stay longer than two nights and I will probably won’t stay there again. Half of the staff is super friendly the other ones are not. Better bring your own hairdryer, the one inside the room overheats after 2 minutes and the other one they gave me was all sticky and super loud. It’s not really tidy and too expensive for what you get. The location is good you can walk into the center.

        My husband and I came here on our honeymoon. The hotel was beyond generous and upgraded our room to an amazing executive suite. The service was amazing so quick and everyone was so kind. They decorated the room for us and even helped me surprise my husband with some Prosecco for his birthday. I would highly recommend staying here if visiting Rome.
