Absolutely loved this place and I was sad to leave. My favourite hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The building is beautiful, the atmosphere was lovely and the beds, duvet and pillow was comfy. The staff were really friendly. The facilities were super clean and there is a separate mess room with a microwave, tables and chairs, a couple of arm chairs and a tv. I stayed for two nights and after struggling to eat a decent vegetarian meal for days in Japan I tried their breakfast and was very happy to find it was vegetarian and super yummy. Good portion too. Curry, rice, pickled vegetables, yoghurt and coffee all of which were individually delicious. I definitely recommend you try it. I can see other reviewers have marked it down on not having lockers for luggage, but in my experience no Japanese hostels I’ve stayed in have. But you do get your own lockable box in your bed compartment for valuables. Of course all hostels can be noisy depending on your neighbour’s manners and everyone’s sleeping patterns, however free ear plugs are available and I highly recommend and sleeping masks too which made my stay much more pleasant. To top it off the whole place has an amazing sandalwood scent. I hope you like it as much as I did!

Very beautiful hostel, as if you are sleeping in an art gallery. Clean, friendly people, free amenities, free towel, spacious sleeping area, under bed storage. Water dispenser machine available for free. One bathroom with bathtub. Good location and quiet neighbourhood. It’s almost perfect expect for a few minor things. The shower is not very user friendly, you have to keep pushing for the water to come out (perhaps it’s common in japan but not for foreigners). There’s only one full length mirror with proper lighting at the corner of the basin. Narrow toilet and basin area walkway. Stairs only, need to carry luggage to second floor. All rooms on second floor. All toilets and showroom on first floor. Note that as of mid November 2018, they are still renovating their kitchen and communal area. The workers come in the morning at 8am. The smell of paint is not very pleasant. No use of common area from 8am to 7pm, meaning there’s no place to eat breakfast if it’s after 8am.

Really nice design hostel. What can be improved? Maybe some lockers to leave your stuff, to turn the lights of the sleeping rooms at night and the tablet self check in. (Weird and not working really well) There is nothing to see in the neighborhood. So don’t expect to get your morning coffee around.

Great place. 20 min walk from Kyoto station and 5 min walk to local stations. A handful of restaurants within walking distance. Friendly staff, with breakfast available. Fushimi Inari and Kiyomizu Dera are easily accessible from here. Highly recommended!

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
