        Had a horrible experience. The host didn't bother about cleanliness, and instead of addressing the issue, asked us to vacate the property. When we requested for a cancellation the host denied, and behaved very rudely. This was our second visit to Sri Lanka, and we love the country, but I guess there are always a few unpleasant people. It's pretty evident why the host is infamous, they denie the facts and accuse guests. Would never recommend anyone to book this property.

        Where to start?? We were highly disappointed by the behaviour of the owner as well as the caretaker. The property was not at all like photoshopped one. 1) There was no cleanliness in any of the rooms and especially in kitchen. It was stinking with leftover food and garbage waste in dustbin. We couldn't even enter the kitchen because of that smell. 2) we ordered food at night when we went to take parcel, the gate was locked at 10pm. This is how they treat guests by locking them inside. Caretaker was so high at night that he told us he is not caretaker but a neighbour of the owner. 3) we didn't get blankets. On asking for blankets, the caretaker said denied and gave 5 bedsheets for 8 people, afterwards. 4) when we told the owner about all these things, she simply messaged us " if you have problem you can leave". 5) after seeing her message we decided to leave in the morning, and the main Chaos started here. We were ready to give half amount but she wanted full amount and we were not ready for that as that place didn't deserve even half amount. Caretaker locked main gate and threatened us by the name of police and we were ready to talk with police also..but they never came..as you might guess that the owner was only threatening us. If someone really wants to book this place only by looking at the photoshopped images, as we did, please don't book this property. you will definitely regret. They spoilt our 31'st night and they don't care about their guets.

        We stayed 2 days (Dec24 and 25) in this place with family members. There were 15 members with us and we stayed very comfortably and happily. There are many facilities in this villa. (4 bed room with A/C, 3 washrooms with hot water system and all the facilities, Living room with 55 inches smart curved tv with peo-tv facility, Sony home theater system with good sound, Very comfortable sofa set. Dining room with 2 big dining tables. Clean kitchen with all the facilities(Plates, glasses, spoons, refrigerator, hot pot, microwave oven, Gas cooker with oven, Gas, Pantry etc.). It also maintained by very kind hearted good staff. We also did a BBQ party and we sang songs and listened to songs very loudly. But there was not any disturb from the staff and neighbors. It has a well maintained beautiful garden and a big car park. We parked 4 cars easily in that car park. Cost of that place is very lower than other villas and hotels and that cost is very cheap and very reasonable. Finally i will give my thanks to the staff and the owner of that villa and i highly recommend this place to everyone who wish to spend a vacation in the south side. In the next time when we go to the south side we surely select this villa to spend our vacation.

        We were a group of 8 people and planned to stay at Villa 26 for two days. Given the decent reviews, we had planned to spend our new-year eve in this property. However, we had to leave after spending one harrowing night. Firstly, of the four rooms, we were given only three rooms and the remaining one was locked. Second, the caretaker and the host were too rude. When we complained about the discrepancies in the property, we were asked to leave. Please see attached pic. When we requested to leave the property after one day, we were asked to pay the price for both the days. The caretaker even locked us and threatened to confiscate our luggage!! Upon checking other reviews, it is evident that this type of behavior is normal from the property owner. Please save yourself and do not book this property. Edit 1: As I see the response, the owner is lying that we had no money to pay. Funny they are saying this after receiving 100 dollars from us in cash. And regarding the police, we insisted the owner to call the police which she never did, because of course, they couldn't! You can judge the owner by her lies :D Edit 2: Before booking this, please check the owner's replies ("fool indian", "arrange 5 star hereafter", etc.) to all the critical reviews of her property. The disdain and the utter lack of professionalism is starkly visible. So, you get an idea of the kind of bully you will be dealing with.

          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
