        Great food, friendly staff. We had lunch at the spacious terrace in the sun in the winter. Great place to have your morning coffee, lunch or dinner. Everything freshly made.

        Where do I begin… came for a breakfast with my boyfriend and got English breakfast (that was the first mistake) we gave it a go and I would rate it a 3/5 only because you can’t go too wrong with eggs, bacon or beans. These carried the meal. The mushrooms however, were respectfully, the worst tasting fungi I have had in my life. They tasted like they had come from a can and the sausages weren’t any better…. Very disappointing because how can you mess up a mushroom? Moreover, this English breakfast had no hash browns (my favourite part), so it felt incomplete. My boyfriend ordered a chicken salad with fruit. This was not any better than the breakfast. The chicken lacked flavour and tasted like it had also come from a can, the pineapple did not seem fresh the kiwi and apple probably saved the dish. For a salad, there was no seasoning whatsoever and it was dry. The best thing about this place were the drinks which were definitely fresh and the customer service. Our waiter was extremely kind and even cracked some jokes with us. Overall, I don’t think I could eat here again.

        We loved it here and visited most days during our holiday. Food was great and staff were helpful and understanding. Large food selection and an English menu. Plenty of wonderful pastries to try also. Felt very comfortable here and will visit again when in the area, thank you to the lovely staff who work hard. Never did get to try the fire water coffee but on the list for next time, also prices very reasonable.

        Called here a couple of times.Once for coffee and cake which was lovely and enjoyable,no complaints but thought because it was so nice we would try it for lunch.BIG MISTAKE. I ordered the cod special from the board.(didn't know what it was because it was all in Portuguese writing,but I love fish and eat it all the time so thought I would get it.) My wife and sister had salads. Cod was so hard and FULL of bones and was surrounded by the thinnest potatoes (crisps).There wasn't any sauce. The salads had so much oil dressing on that it made the lettuce limp and soggy and just awful,but the girls were so hungry that they just ate it anyway.I complained about my cod though,and the waitress said "OK,Do you want to change?" I said yes please,so she brought me the menu. I decided to have burger and chips.It came and was better but still not the best,so I ate it because I was so hungry by this time.We asked for the bill and to our surprise they had charged me for the fish,and When we disputed this they said "just because you don't like it doesn't mean you don't pay" I was gob smacked.I said "It was overcooked and shouldn't be hard and full of bones,it should just fall apart. It was tough and I couldn't get my knife through it.Cod shouldn't be like that."They just kept saying I had to pay. After a LONG dispute with me refusing to pay for the fish they eventually gave in and took it off the bill. Such a shame we had this experience because its a lovely little café. So if you go just have the cakes and coffee and you'll be fine.

        We ate here 3 times on our holiday, the cakes are to die for, but we also had lunch and even called in the evening and both times were wonderful, great for food and drinks, we found the drinks very reasonable. We will be back next year..
