The location of this hotel is up in the hills - that is the first thing to note. So it’s not very central to the shops, restaurants etc without travelling by car, scooter etc. Because of this, I wasn’t pleased initially. However, because of the above, and needing to travel around via scooter, it gave us an experience one could not get by staying walking distance to the central shops. Travelling on the scooter allowed us to witness the everyday of many locals who live nearby - we also crossed paddocks, homes, construction yards, kids playing in the streets and witnessed this intimately as we scooted past every day. The host is also very nice and they accommodated to every request that we had. If you’re happy to travel for 8-10mins via scooter or ask the host to drop you off somewhere or take you around, this is the place for you! The views and aesthetic of the villas are also very beautiful.

Villa the Spot offered an amazing customer experience for us. Everything about this villa is special. The view fom the hill is stunning. The host offers a very familiar atmosphere and made us feel welcome. The offered food is traditional thai and absolutely delicious. They offer a lot of great adventures from the villa to a reasonable price. We had a very relaxing time and will absolutely recommend Villa the Spot and the amazing experience of staying here to everyone.

The view is the only good thing if you reserve the right room and confirm with the owner before you go! not all taxi goes there they charge you double. we paid 800 baht and had to carry our luggages on a very very steep road very dangereous. the owner should have told us that they are the only transport up until to the place. but was too late to tell that. they should have mentioned that on booking or airbnb. The bathroom has slats dirty and broken. so no privacy at nite. the sheets and towels were clean but in general rooms and main terrace and pool not clean. The owner was not hospitable, service-oriented and cooperative. We had airbnb confirmation with our front view room number (b6) and breakfast included clearly in the airbnb application. first they gave us another room back in the hill, we had to tell him to give us the right room. then he came back ah ok 1 night but we will give it to you? But we already paid for this room including breakfast right? he then next morning translated airbnb confirmation into english he still got angry and started to yell breakfast is not included. come on ! in english it says clearly included! so u better check your room number and brekfast with the owner before you confirm your payment. dont fly 10000 km to discuss such people and ruin your holiday. btw, the breakfast was very good!!! in short: it is not recommended. sorry to say that but the french owner(himself is also with dirty clothes) is arrogant and not guest-oriented or maybe need tourism management training for his and ko samuai's good.
