I really like the decoration and service of this hotel. The lobby bar is also great, and I particularly enjoy their bar. However, some of their cocktails are the most expensive I've ever had, at 50 Pounds a glass. The rooms are also very spacious, with a separate dressing table, which is a plus. The location is extremely advantageous, situated on Victoria Street, with lots of dining and drinking options just outside. Next to it is a very famous fish and chips place. I recommend staying at this hotel as it's very close to various attractions, all within walking distance.

Loved this hotel from arrival to checkout the staff are so welcoming and professional the rooms are amazing very spacious, spotlessly clean well designed layout with the quirkyness you would expect from virgin. Make a point of going to the rooftop garden for some great views of Edinburgh. We had a great stay at this hotel and have no hesitation in recommending.

The hotel is well situated in the Old Town, very near Grey Friar's Bobby, the castle etc. The hotel is beautifully decorated, each communal room has a different sort of vibe. We were welcomed by a lovely lady in reception, she was genuinely warm and friendly. The room we stayed in was clean, warm and comfortable. The shower was great. I appreciated that the toilet was separate from the shower. We enjoyed our fluffy robes and found the mini bar reasonably priced. We dined in Eve at night, there was something for everyone and generous portions. The food was delicious and service nice and relaxed, not stuffy and pretentious. The music and style of Eve created a nice chilled ambiance. The roof terrace (available to guests who are staying in the hotel) offered excellent views including a fairly close proximity to the Castle. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to return some day.

Excellent hotel in the heart of old town, only a 10 min walk from the train station. We got upgraded to a large king room that was beautiful. The design and renovation of this old historic building is amazing and we loved it. It’s also very quiet as they had double windows in our room so there was no street noise. Breakfast was fantastic. Our only regret was not staying longer.

The virgin Edinburgh. A good way to be skint for Christmas! Firstly I’d like to start with the good. Great location, decent sized room. Nice bed. However, the bad seems to let this place down. The reception was tucked away into a corner. Seemed like a broom closet. Instead of being right in front of you as you come in! The room seemed to be not well sound proofed. As I could hear our next door neighbours talking constantly. BUT! The worst of it all, is when you first land. You’re tired and not really thinking. They ask for a security deposit. (Normal practice I know.) However, £400 for 4 nights. Breaking down at £100 per night. This seems excessive and offended me almost straight away. I end this by saying, I loved my time in Edinburgh. But I expect my money back!

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
