We stayed here from Wednesday to Sunday. The location was perfect since we were going to a three night concert at the Warfield, so it was just down the block. There were many small stores, restaurants, everything around us within walking distance. We were greeted immediately and checked into our room. We stayed on the third floor and had a window facing a building. The room is small, but we are also 5’4” , 5’10” average size. We don’t require a lot of space. Love the historic feel to it. The bed was comfy. Came with usb charging plug ins. One by the bed and one by the desk. So bring an extra charging block if you want to charge your phone by your bed side. The bathroom is small, but we didn’t mind. The shower head is big which is great and th water was scorching hot. Just how we like it. The bathroom windows open in case it gets too hot and steamy. The mirror warms up so it doesn’t get foggy. That was a nice touch. Shower came with body gel and a combo shampoo conditioner bottles. Also a blow dryer . The tv acts up when you first turn it on, maybe it just takes a minute to find a signal. But then once it does, you have all the basic cable channels. Either we didn’t have neighbors or we couldn’t hear them which is great. However our room is right behind the elevator so we could hear that, but it kinda just drowns itself out. Our stay included a complimentary beverage, sadly we never got time to use those. There was complimentary fruit water in the lobby. And a couple complimentary water bottles in the room. When we arrived back at the hotel late at night, the doors were locked but someone immediately came over to make sure we were staying there. Which is great that they are being safe at night, especially down there in that area. We’ve stayed at the Warwick in other cities before and loved it and loved this stay as well.

It is a terrible hotel, with staff and management who do not pick up their phones or return emails. I have been chasing a refund for over a year, and have not once received a response. The rooms were leaking and flooded during our stay, we were moved three times before we gave up and booked elsewhere. They front desk had email to confirm that they would be issuing a refund, and they have not once responded since, will report to the FTC and recommend everyone to do the same! * Following on from their response below. After 5 days, I have not received a response for anyone from their team. It is an outright joke!

As you can see we booked a room with balcony. The room was very comfortable and big. I loved the view from the room and the short distance to union square. BUT... First I would like to mention that we stayed there from Friday to Sunday, so over the weekend, I don't know if it's the same on weekdays but it was loud the whole night. Normally I sleep like the dead, but I woke up at least five to eight times per night, because of the really noisy street below. There were people shouting, alarms ringing, cars with outside speakers, garbage trucks and so on. And I could hear it through the windows as if I left them open. Therefore although I liked a lot of things about the hotel I wouldn't stay there again. As I mentioned, it maybe less noisy on weekdays...

The service here was great, they had no problem holding our stuff while we went out and explored the area after the early morning flight. In addition, they also gave us suggestions on where to go for food which was nice as well. The front desk staff were super friendly! We came back over an hour before check in and they had the space ready for us early which was great. We were exhausted and needed a power nap. The room was a good size and had good water pressure. Our room may have not had a view but it was very quiet, which we preferred. We then went somewhere else for a 2 day trip during our vacation. I appreciate that when we got back they gave us the same room. It's the little things! The bed was comfortable and the temperature was fine as well. It's within a walking distance from Jack in the Box for a late night snack or Starbucks for an early morning. Also Honey Honey Cafe is a great breakfast spot.

My stay at The Warwick was okay. The room smelled dewy as if the carpet was wet or someone just took a shower. It took them quite a bit of phone calls to release my deposit. The location of my room was okay, being it had windows on both sides so I had different views of the city. Smack in the middle of everything and by everything I mean also some homeless. I felt safe during the day. Would I recommend… ehh.
