Overall my husband and I had a very pleasant stay at Watermark Hotel. The room was clean upon arrival and the space was nice. We had a nice view of city/mountains. Our room was cleaned fully when asked. The service provided at the front desk was always polite and kind. The breakfast buffet had a decent amount of western and Japanese foods. The location is a short walk from Kyoto station or just a 3 min walk to Gojo station. Would recommend!

Good value for the price. Bed was pretty comfortable. There are laundry machines, but no gym. Bring earplugs because the walls are thin. Also, they charge 2,000 yen/hr for a late checkout, which seems excessive.

This was my fourth time staying in Watermark Hotel and I love it every time! The location is both convenient and quiet, with convenience stores and a supermarket just nearby. The hotel is clean and spacious! I will definitely come for another visit soon✨

Watermark Kyoto is a beautiful quiet property. My family and I stayed here last weekend for a few days on a short trip from Tokyo. It's very close to the subway and rooms are large (we booked a suite) and it's traditional japanese style low beds, sliding "wood" doors etc, the bathrooms are very clean and spacious. The front desk employees are very friendly, the only issue was there are strict with the check in time at 3pm, we got there at about 1pm and weren't able to check in but were offered early check in at approx $15/hr. They held on to our bags while we explored the immediate area and did a little shopping. We would definitely stay again, the actual rooms are comparable to a lot of 4 and 5 star hotels I've stayed at.

Loved the modern room and how much larger they are compared to typical Japanese hotels. The only downside was the a/c unit. It made noise in the middle of the night (even when it was turned off). Not sure if it was just my room or if all of them are the same

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
