The Wellington Hotel & Spa in Madrid exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The cleanliness of the facilities was impeccable, creating a welcoming and hygienic environment. The attention to detail in maintaining the rooms and common areas showcased a commitment to high standards. The hotel's facilities were not only aesthetically pleasing but also well-maintained. The spa, in particular, provided a relaxing escape, and the fitness facilities were top-notch. The staff demonstrated exceptional attention to guests, ensuring that every need was met with a friendly and efficient approach. Their dedication added a personal touch to the overall experience, making my stay at the Wellington truly outstanding. It's still my favourite 5 star classic Madrid hotel despite being in need of a renovation, but still has the best service (by some margin), convention rooms, old style charm, and unbeatable location than all the others. I only hope that the new management keeps the good friendly close professional service the hotel is known for, and they don't fall for the way the Ritz has followed

•The best breakfast in the world• I stayed in Wellington 6 months ago with my boyfriend’s family and I'm going to tell you why you should come here. The hotel service is really nice, the people are nice and friendly, it had a excellent decoration and my favorite place in the hotel was the restaurant especially in the mornings for breakfast, I ate the best Spanish tortilla, the desserts were delicious, the warm atmosphere of the restaurant was excellent, they were always looking out for you. You can eat all the food you can at breakfast time. The hotel offers a spa service but I didn't get to use it. I will return to the hotel in December and I hope to be able to use the spa.

Been told that it’s one of the more long-standing prestigious hotels in Madrid. The building is old. The air in the room is musty - the decorative bed spread at the foot of the bed, not the duvet or the sheets, has stain on it. I think it just gets recycled for continuous use. Aside from that, it’s relatively clean. Food wasn’t great at the hotel, and it’s important for Asians.

Beautiful hotel. Amazing staff. We have stayed twice during this trip. The first visit, we couldn't figure out the shower system. Maintenance was sent immediately to help. This trip, we needed to check in early. We were accommodated immediately. Our a/c wasn't cooling effectively, by the time we returned from dinner our room was nice and cool. The beds are amazingly comfortable, and the room has everything you could need. This time we even have our own balcony. Lovely hotel, centrally located. Cannot wait to visit again.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. The hotel reserves the right of admission. The hotel may refuse to honour the booking if it determines that the property policies have been violated.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
