        Location was amazing! It was 5/10 minutes away from the centre. Loads of shops and restaurants around. Hotel and room were really clean and the shower was nice and powerful. Only thing that was disappointing is the air con didn’t work and the room was quite hot so struggled to get to sleep, and the pillows were not very comfortable. Overall very happy with our stay.

        Great location but small room, bed only a double and the bedside lights were a bit loose. Room needed updating to the same level as the bathroom, which was compact but modern. Great shower and nespresso machine was a good addition. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Would definitely return and recommend but book a king-size next time

        This place has a renovated lobby.the rest is a MESS. Room 120 has dirty carpet, tears, rips, and a dirty wall. You are better off at a hostel. If you need heat the front desk controls it so you stay cold. It shuts off everyday. The lighting is all messed up the way they have it set up in there. The sink was stopped up, just one thing after the next. I would not waste time or money staying there. It was disappointing. Very disappointing, just a rip off.

        Great location but small room, bed only a double and the bedside lights were a bit loose. Room needed updating to the same level as the bathroom, which was compact but modern.         So temper your expectations on room, and you will be fine here. What you're getting in return for room size is location with the WestCord. It is exceptionally well run, very clean, and for central Amsterdam, surprisingly quiet. I did have an interior room which probably helped. We've stayed in many hotels in the centum,, none were as quiet as my room at the WestCord. Staff were extremely helpful and professional. Cleaning staff were excellent and communicative. Regarding my comment about tempering expectations on room size, in my room I had to turn my body to get to the toilet and then look at the sink shelf. The pics cover it. It's basically just a bed, bathroom and space to walk, but it gets the job done. Just know that if you are a large person, you may have a challenge dealing with the toilet area in the room type I had. Great value for the location, clean, comfortable, quiet, efficient. About 100 feet from the 2/12/13/17 Nieuwezijds Kolk Tram Line which is one stop from Central Station.

        Stay away from this hotel. Once we opened the bed, there were many hairs on the bed. We called the reception to complain but instead of finding a solution, the guy on the reception blamed us for calling and informing him in such a late time! We asked for room change and there were available rooms but he didnt do that. He found new bed sheets and called me(!) to the reception to take them! The new clean(!) bed sheets also have stains on it! Crazy… So if you want to have problems with no solutions, come to this hotel. If you want a peaceful stay, then stay away from this one!
