        Room 103 has cockaroaches be aware. There is a hole in the board and we came back to 5 cockaroaches running around. They changed the room right away and the room was much nicer and no cockaroaches. Breakfast is very good. Location is also very good.

        The service at this hotel is impeccable. Although the hotel lobby is quite outdated and I was skeptical upon arrival, I was thoroughly amazed with the service we received throughout our stay. The rooms were fantastic (very large and the AC was much appreciated). We also visited the hotel bar on the rooftop and once again, was amazed by the service we received by the bartender. Would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rio.

        DO NOT GO HERE. Mario should not be working in a customer service hotel position. If a guest is walking in and not creating a stir YOU DO NOT YELL AT THE GUEST TO COME TO THE COUNTER. They make up charges and rules and when asked to see the policy and the amounts related to these charges they have no proof. They wanted to charge me 190 for me to have a friend come to my room and them to fill out a form that they are a guest. I have stayed in Paris, Vancouver BC, Buenos Aires, Munich, Salzburg and London and never have I had this. At the same time I paid for a triple room and I went alone. I received a single bed and an answer when asked Rafael that the single bed was meant for 3 people. They are liars and the staff is awful.

        If you speak English just verify everything you say or some things get lost in translation and it can throw a wrench in plans. Other than that it's your average hotel.

          Booking Policy
          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
