Really nice Ryokan. Private onsen, amazing dinner and breakfast (the dinner is a course so there's a lot to eat), great service, clean and comfortable rooms with plenty of space (very small TVs in case you were planning on watching a movie, but whatever). Overall a great experience, very relaxing.

I'm traveling in a group of 5 friends and our stay has been amazing. It has far outweighed our expectations. We weren't sure if we'd get much time in the baths and didn't know what dinner would be like but there was plenty of time and space in the baths and dinner was a beautiful spread of perfectly prepared dishes with a seasonal flair. It was a feast for the eyes as well as the pallet. Our hostess told us Yaeikan is over 100 years old. There is just the right mix of the traditional and a few key modern amenities. We were overjoyed, settling into our room, and then delightfully relaxed after such a wonderful meal and hot baths.

The experience at this Hotel gave an authentic Traditional Japanese accomodation! The breakfast and Dinner they provide to your room is a delicious traditional Japanese experience! Tho you’re required to wear their slippers while in the building making it uncomfortable to walk up and down stairs, the onsean was great!

As a first timer in Japan and Hakone, I really enjoyed my stay here. The Ryokan is over 100 years old and it still retains its traditional roots. Rooms are spacious and the furniture was moved after dinner to fit futons for sleeping. We had a great view of the river from our room and the streets was relatively quiet. The included breakfast and dinner was amazing, with fresh seafood and carefully prepared. The small portions are deceptively small but very filling. The Okami-san was super friendly and tried to communicate in English. She definitely made us feel very welcomed. Apparently the onsen was hotter than usual but you get used to it. You can make 30 minute reservations for a private onsen.

It was our first ryokan experience and it was perfect. I love the fact that it was a hundred years old building and I didnt see any damage in our room. We stayed at the room Hourai, and it was wayyyy bigger than what we have expected. The services was great, the lady who served our dinner (I'm sorry that I dont remember her name), she introduced each dish to us with mostly Japanese and some broken English. I can understand a little bit of Japanese myself so we could communicate well. The gentleman at the reception can speak English so I think even if you dont know Japanese, it will be fine. In regards to food, we did not upgrade our meals so we had the original meal that came with the room. I love all the season-featured dishes. My partner, who is more of a white stomach, surprisingly loves a lot of the dishes too. The meals are massive too!! I finished everything that my partner didnt finish, haha! Their home made ume wine is heavenly! I am ume wine lover and i have never had one that smooth! The lady told me that it was kept for 2 years before it was served. All the carvings on the vegetables were so adorable that i didnt wanna eat them. I love the room's piravte onsen and the outdoor onsen the most. When I went to the public onsen, there were only two other ladies there at night, so it was quite quiet. The path walking from the train station to the ryokan makes you feel like you went into a movie set. The ryokan is situated very closed to the 2 main free pass bus stop, so it was easy to go everywhere. Thank you so much for the great experience.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
