We Booked this trip via jetwing. A unique place... the boat was comfy and ok. A little outdated and could use some refreshing. However, everything you need is present. The host was very friendly, cooked a great meal, told a lot of stories and showed us around during the boat tour. We loved this stay!

Pros: 01. Unique vintage boat experience 02. Good customer service 03. Calm and peaceful environment 04. One to two hours cruise experience (with additional cost) Cons: 01. Only one boat is available with two rooms. 02. Rooms are bit dusty 03. Limited food options 04. Not up-to Jetwing standards 05. Cruise experience is not good as we expected. 06. There are no place to relax other than the boat. After some hours boat experience will get bored.

Yathra houseboat is one of the unique properties that jetwing has. A 20 km drive from welipenna exit of highway will bring you there. Our stay included a 2 hour cruise and that was amazing. The islands along the channel mostly without human habitation gives you that adventurer feel. We never got to dine at the rooftop due to raining but I'm sure dinner there must be a superb experience. The service is very good we liked it immensely. I'm going along with three stars as there wasn't any variety in food, not thrilled with the potion offered and the taste. Also i didn't like the captain. If this factor improves, the stay will be perfect.

Captain Koralage is a USP, a war veteran of three decades long, now ended war between Srilanka and LTTE. He is the captain of the boat, will gently lead you to a fascinating 2-3 hour long journey as part of the one day visit. The main theme is the sun set or sun rise in Dedduwa lagoon area. I witnessed the sun set with my newly married wife. We were quite lucky, only other room of boat was empty as the booking was cancelled last minute. I presume the houseboat experience would be maximum if you are alone there or with family or friends. They have an offer if you want to book the boat all alone for you or your family. Take it. Food was not so good, though hospitality was really good. A dedicated security is there at night so no much worries to spend the night in the anchored boat. Generally really good experience. Highly recommended for a one day visit, make sure both rooms occupied by your team and no much expectations for food.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
