There was an issue with the key cards that locked me out of my own room. Hotel staff said it was because the person in my room had the lock activated, but this was not the case. It was 3:00am and no one was available to fix the issue. The hotel staff offered to sell me another room at a discounted rate ($100). I declined and kept knocking until I woke up the person in my room. They did not have the lock activated like the hotel staff said. This key issue was extremely frustrating. Hotel staff was nice. The room was small. Aside from a questionable stain on the triangle window couch, the room was clean. Due to the key card issue I would not stay here again or recommend it.

I do not recommend using this hotel for several reasons: 1. Uncomfortable rooms ("sky rooms"); 2. Poor "breakfasts"; 3. Unreasonable withdrawal of funds from the deposit for using the minibar, which was not even in my room! This is not acceptable; 4. The hotel is located in the worst district of San Francisco. The staff does not respond to my complaints about erroneous withdrawals. They say that "they found two empty water bottles in my room." At the same time, they knew perfectly well that there was no minibar in my room, and there could be no use of it. Thus, I regard such actions of the hotel staff as petty fraud. P.S. Eventually, extra funds were paid back on my card. Thanks.

Overall: Be aware that this is a Japanese style hotel. Which means that it's completely self-service. They don't even have a front desk, you check in on a tablet, kind of like when you check-in by yourself at the airport. At first, I was weirded-out by this, but I grew to really like it. I prefer not having staff hovering over me. If you like your hand held, it's not the place for you. Staff: Amazing. Super nice people- very helpful. Always someone in the lobby to help if you need. Location: Be aware, this hotel is right smack in the middle of the current heroin epidemic going on in SF (this is Sep, 2023). If this makes you squeamish, you will not want to stay here. Drug users surround the hotel in the evenings. Lots of police around as well. Rooms: Because it's japan-style, the rooms are very sparse and small. I kind of liked it. But, if you need space, find a different hotel. Amenities: There is a lounge with a coffee machine and they have free muffins in the morning. Gym available 24 hours.

This hotel deserves more credit. The location is a bit dicey, but it's near the Tenderloin so this is true for every hotel in the area. As long as you know what to expect, it shouldn't come as a surprise that there are homeless drug addicts around. If you exit the hotel on Market Steet, going right is better than going left -especially at night. We stayed here for shows at the Warfield and the hotel was conveniently located for that. We also walked to China Town easily from the hotel. There is also a secure parking garage nearby. The rooms are minimalist, which is clear in the hotel's advertising. So again, no surprise there. This is not a hotel you should plan on sharing with anyone other than your significant other or immediate family as the rooms/bathrooms don't offer much privacy. It was perfect for us and we would stay at a Yotel again. We had a Premier Queen which was perfect for my husband and I who are average size people. There was always at least 1 staff member in the lobby and a security guard. We felt completely safe at all hours in the hotel. For context, we also spent 3 nights in a Pod hotel in NYC last year, so we were prepared for the minimalist hotel concept. The Yotel was even better than our NYC hotel.

The hotel is hippie. Rooms are small but unique and dope. The restaurant is still under construction. There are way too many homeless people in the whole area. Besides that the hotel is cool. The staff are professional. I will definitely book again !

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
