Lovely place, right next to Interlaken Ost station with grocery and restaurants in a minutes distance. Rooms are renovated and look great. Good breakfast and great reception team. My first choice in the next visit too. Only concern I had was with the other guests making lot of noise disturbing the sleep. Especially, if your room on the roadside (main entrance) and 1st floor, all smoke and noise gets into the room easily. During my stay, a large batch of people were sitting in the outdoor seating area, smoking and shouting till 2am. Hardly had any sleep. No response from the hostel team for the complaint I raised.

Super convenient location right next door to Interlaken Ost station. The ground floor café-cum-common room, like the rest of the facility, are strictly functional yet smart and modern-looking. The dorm's bunk area is very thoughtfully separated from the in-room lockers by a sliding door, which helps to keep noises down. I would be giving this hostel a higher score if it weren't because the showers were all flooded to various degrees. If you want a clean dry shower here, you do need to try as soon as you arrive, because ventilation in the cubicles is inadequate and most people don't bother trying to keep the shower vestibule dry. Good breakfast from nicely early 06:30, and the cost is reasonable for Switzerland.

It’s funny, looking at the lowest reviews are all from Asians with different reasons 😂 Let me be honest. My ethnicity is Asian but I speak fluent English with no Asian accents since I’m living in Australia for a long decades years. First, let’s be honest we don’t expect 5star service from ‘Youth Hostel’. Plus they are very busy and big hostel. They don’t have to be nice to yous lol. I mean it’s good to be nice but not every single minute HAHAHA. They just need to do their job. Just accept it. Plus, there’s a written notice to not to take brekky food away. But some Asians can’t read the rules so it looks like you guys are breaking the rules. (Actually it looks hilarious and pathetic) It is clearly ‘language barriers’. Period. Look, if you have to explain and repeat the same thing over and over again just because the people DO NOT UNDERSTAND what they’re saying. I mean ENGLISH. Then any saints would be frustrated and gutted at the end lol. The receptionist and staffs are not English teachers!!! They probably expect you to understand some English like they do and other European tourists do. But I get it even if English is being global language, some cannot speak or understand. Especially for Asians (don’t know why 🤷🏾‍♂️) Well, depends. But I understand the both party. Just don’t take it personally guys 😂 To add, I didn’t feel that they are rude. They were just doing their job. Plus, once you start a small talk then they are actually very warm and good talks. By Asian Australian lol

It is a gem right next to the railway station. You can stay there, have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The breakfast is all you can eat continental breakfast with a lot of choices for vegetarians for 15 Francs. Good vegetarian choices for dinner and lunch as well. The chef makes dishes right in front of you and, the food is fresh and tasty. Highly recommend for anyone who is visiting Interlaken.

Location is great, property is modern, breakfast is included. Even though it is a youth hostel, half of guests were 65+. Only downside is that there is no public kitchen or refrigerator so no cooking allowed.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
