        Honestly confused by the reviews for this hotel. The carpet in the room was not only dirty but had dried paint flecks and dry paint dust covering the floors evidenced by the layer of white dust on my black socks. The hallway smelled like a mix of pool water and mildew while the fragrance in the lobby could be smelled from outside. The bathroom was TINY, like you could barely turn around small and could wash your hands while sitting on the toilet small. The water pressure in the shower was ridiculously low, and the shower control knob literally broke off while showering and cut my sister's foot, on top of that the bathroom fan didn't really work making the small very steamy bathroom with only hot water (due to the faulty knob) an even worse experience. Also the supplied conditioner container looked like it had never been cleaned, you could see multiple layers of old conditioner build up in different colors. The bed headboard was a microfiber almost texture that was cracking and flaking on my hair when I sat up against it and the bedding was pretty much 2 flat sheets and a blanket, no comforter or duvet. While I know this isn't a luxury resort, overall it was not only underwhelming but not very clean or functional even. Also valet parking, the only parking we could find or were pointed to, was $40/ night, a little high for guests in my opinion. The valet staff was nice but did take a little while however I don't think it was the staff but the location that caused this. They also had a small valet staff, maybe it would be helpful to implement a call-ahead system to help the wait. Pros: The front desk staff was nice, the lobby had a lot of security (not sure if this is normal but I guess if they feel it is needed it was appreciated) and the location seemed good even though we didn't stay long. Bottom line, was it the worst hotel I've ever stayed in... no. But would I stay again or recommend it, no.

        My husband and I stayed for one night before a cruise. I will say the location is great, especially if you are going to the port. The hotel itself is not great. The rooms are small with the most ridiculous little windows that you need to be 7' to see out of. I actually laughed out loud when I saw how small the bathroom was. We used the gym, which is small, but worked for what we needed. The elevators are ridiculous. We waited at least 10 minutes after the gym and decided to see what was going on. There was a huge line on the ground floor at 9am to get upstairs. We ended up taking the stairs 15 flights, which was faster than the elevator... I would have been so unhappy with this hotel if we were staying more than one night, but it worked for what we needed. Also, do not take the shuttle they advertise for the port. It was incredibly delayed and 4x more expensive than an uber.

        We had an amazing stay at Hotel YVE Miami. Camilo at the front desk was so kind to get us the perfect King bed room. After a very long and stressful day at the airport, being treated with kindness and hospitality was exactly what we needed. 100% recommend this hotel for a weekend getaway in town!

        I stayed at this hotel for 3 days. Upon checking in and giving my keys to my room on the 15th floor, I was then told that the elevators were out and I had to walk to my room. They said they were trying to fix them, but the elevator was never fixed for the stay. When I got to the room, I noticed headboards peeling, the coffee machine not working, and the world's smallest bathroom. The worst part of the room was the loud thud the ac unit did when turning on. Due to the loud noise, I had to turn it off and sleep in the heat so I could have a good night's sleep. But the room did have great views of the ocean. The customer service is lackluster and does not communicate with customers who have issues. They only informed people of the elevators not working after they completely checked in. On day two I received a text asking how my stay was, and when I responded, I got a response and said they would look into everything and follow up with me. Never got a response back. Then they procced to charge my card twice for the room on two different days. And acting like they did nothing wrong when talking to sales rep and they had to talk to the billing department.

        I’ve stayed here a couple times but I wanted to review today because of this last stay. We were staying on the 14th floor and when we left to checkout, the elevators were broken. The front desk told us they were working on it but didn’t know how long it would be till it was fixed. My mom and I had 4 bags and there was no way we were making it down 14 flights of stairs with them. 2 men from the staff came up the 14 flights to carry our 2 very large bags down the stairs. The staff was very apologetic and the men were incredibly helpful, not once complaining about the situation. What could have been a very bad experience was immediately turned around by the staff going above and beyond to fix something that they, in the first place, had no control over. We will continue to support this business and this location.

          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
