        The only thing chilling about this place is the lack of heating. There was a thermostat on the wall that didn't do anything. We were given 3 thin blankets, and with the non-existent heater it was a very cold night. The flooring was water damaged and the bathroom was nice but dated. There is a small low quality TV in the corner, no microwave or refrigerator. The incandescent light bulbs were really helpful in warming the room up though. The coffee maker did a swell job at heating up food too :)

        As noted by many others, this hotel is in Great decline. The advertised breakfast has been cancelled, and no credit offered in return. Stated a/c non existent. Fireplace doesn't work. The list goes on. There is No reception, the key just left in an envelope. We never saw a staff person. On the positive side it was quiet and in a good location.

        I loved this place. This was a great get away for my husband and I before the pandemic. We use to have Wine and Cheese one of the days and breakfast in bed every morning. I don't blame management or those who run the place. I blame the pandemic. I hope with all my heart this place gets it magic back.

        Let's see, "Dave" the contact person, doesn't return calls. We stayed on December 11. Was very cold. Heater does not work, fireplace does not work. No extra blankets available. There were 2 thin towels in the bathroom to shower with that looked like they were 20 years old (paper thin). Didn't see any staff. Our room keys were sitting outside on a table by the front door in an envelope. Top lock broken on door. Price is supposed to include breakfast. I understand not having breakfast offered due to Covid, but the price should reflect that. What a shame. This place has such potential, but is not run well.

        The bed mattress has horrible, old and noisy. There was no air conditioning. The light switches on the front door were broken. The internet was slow. The room was spacious and cute, bedding was clean. Our night was pretty quiet and we loved that. The lady that checked us out was kinda rough didn't ask how we liked our stay, maybe because she didnt want to know.

          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
