About Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport

Located approximately 9 km north of central Ahmedabad, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport is the largest airport serving the state of Gujarat. The airport’s strategic location allows it to connect cities within India and abroad. It consists of four terminals that cater to domestic, international and cargo traffic, with a single runway that is 3,505 m long.
Being the largest producer of cotton in India, Ahmedabad has been an important asset for Gujarat. Today, with leading trades in commerce, communication and construction, it stands as one of the primary economic and industrial hubs for the country as well.
