Lost and Found Service

In case you misplace your baggage or your belongings in any of the terminals at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (SVPIA), Ahmedabad, please do not worry. We are pleased to help our customers retrieve their lost items. All the agencies at the airport are directed to deposit any unclaimed goods under the Lost & Found property. The goods are deposited after duly recording the contents, description, date & time of deposition, and the depositor's signature.

Lost & Found for the operator is managed by AIAL under our supervision. All lost items can only be claimed by the passenger or someone authorized by the passenger. The lost property is kept on as is where is basis. The airport is not liable for any damages to any lost property under its custody.

Lost & Found Claim Process:

Step 1: Contact Lost & Found Department and submit your details:

Step 2: Lost & Found team will verify the details and revert to passenger.

Step 3: In case the item is verified, the lost article/articles may be claimed on producing the following documents:

– Copy of Boarding Card

– Copy of Passport / ID card issued by any Government

– The details of the items being claimed

– A letter filled and signed by the owner with details of the items being claimed

– Government-authorized photo identity card preferably Passport / Driving License / Aadhaar Card / Voter card

Timings

The operating window to claim the items left behind at the terminal is between 6 AM and 10 PM (All Days).
