Free Cancellation service on Adani One allows you to cancel your train ticket without any additional cancellation charges. The refundable amount would equal the “ticket fare” you spent while booking. So, you can book your ticket irrespective of any hiccups with your plans.
In case of cancellation, only the “ticket fare” is refunded. Other charges like Agent Commission, IRCTC Convenience Fee, Payment Gateway Charges and Free Cancellation Charges are non-refundable.
When you cancel your ticket, your refund shall be issued back to you within 7-10 business days to your original source of payment. To process your free cancellation, open the Adani One app, go to the Bookings section, and cancel your ticket. The IRCTC cancellation penalty for your ticket will be waived off automatically from your ticket.
Yes, you can avail of a refund even if your ticket has not yet been confirmed and is waitlisted or RAC.
If you wish to opt for a refund under the free cancellation service, you need to cancel your train booking before chart preparation or at least 4 hours before the scheduled train departure (whichever is earlier) to receive the refund.
A normal cancellation may not give you an option of a full refund if you cancel your train ticket. However, the free cancellation service allows you to get full refund on your train “ticket fare”.

In this case, IRCTC will automatically initiate a refund of the ticket fare, which will be credited to the original mode of payment.
In this case, you are required to file TDR for receiving the ticket money refund as per IRCTC norms.
You are eligible for a “ticket fare” refund on waitlisted auto-cancelled tickets. However, any Free Cancellation Charge paid in such cases would not be eligible for a refund. Please note that the refund excludes the Agent Commission, IRCTC Convenience Fee, and Payment Gateway Charges.
Terms And Conditions
- The terms and conditions of the Free Cancellation service shall be read in conjunction with that of the terms and conditions of the Adani One platform.
- Free Cancellation charges is the amount to be paid by the Customer to avail Free Cancellation service while cancelling a confirmed ticket booked through the Adani One platform.
- Only the ticket fare will be refunded under the Free Cancellation service.
- IRCTC convenience fee, payment gateway charges, platform convenience fee, and Free Cancellation charges are non-refundable.
- The refund amount may change if the ticket status (AVL/WL/RAC) changes before the final payment.
- The booking must be cancelled before chart preparation or 4 hours prior to the scheduled train departure, whichever is earlier to avail the refund.
- If a train is partially cancelled, then TDR filing by the Customer is necessary to obtain a refund from IRCTC.
- If a Customer cancels a ticket wherein, they availed Free Cancellation service, then the standard refund time is 7 to 10 working days, and the refund shall be made to the original source of payment through which Customer has paid for the Free Cancellation service.
- Adani One reserves the right to add/alter/change/ or vary at any time, without notice, any or all these terms and conditions or to replace, entirely or in part, whether similar to this service or not, or to withdraw it altogether. We also reserve the right to discontinue the service without assigning any reason and/or without any prior intimation whatsoever.
