Different Types Of PNR Status
GNWL

CNF

WL

NOSB

TQWL
It means Tatkal Quota Waiting List. This is the tatkal ticket reservation waiting list. In Tatkal, the tickets are directly verified rather than passing via RAC. However, GNWL is used over TQWL while preparing charts.
PQWL
It stands for Pooled Quota Waiting List. When a passenger is going from the origin station to a station before the last station, from an intermediate station to the last station, or between any two intermediate stations, they are placed on the PQWL.
RLWL
It stands for Remote Location Waiting List and you can get tickets for intermediate stations that can be significant towns, which are situated between the journey's starting point and final destination.
RAC

If you purchase a reservation against cancellation (RAC) rail ticket, you will be assigned a berth that you will share with another passenger. Usually, a traveller must share this lower-side seat with another person. However, the TTE of the train could give you a whole seat if there are still seats available.
- Up to 30 minutes before the scheduled departure of the train from its origin station, RAC tickets may be cancelled.
- If the RAC ticket is cancelled as described above, 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time, there would, under normal operating conditions, be no reimbursement.
- The reimbursement of the fare will be given to the user's account if the RAC is an electronic ticket, which can only be cancelled online.
- No cancellation fee is levied and the whole ticket is reimbursed to the user if the trip is abandoned because the train left more than three hours after its planned departure.
