Ahmedabad Airport has two terminals. Terminal 1 is for domestic flights except for Air India, and Terminal 2 is for all international flights and Air India's domestic operations.

Frequent sanitisation is being carried out across the terminals. In addition, sanitiser dispensers are also placed at prominent locations and touchpoints.

Please arrive at least 2 hours before departure of your domestic flights and 4 hours before departure for your international flights. 

An airport Wi-Fi network in the airport terminal gives you free access to the internet for 30 minutes. It requires a valid Indian mobile number to access it. You can also buy a Wi-Fi network for high speed after your free access is over at a minimal cost.

There are designated smoking areas inside both terminals.  

Both the terminals at Ahmedabad Airport are operational 24*7.  

If you lose something on board the aircraft, in the terminal or in the airline coaches, please complete the service form on the lost and found page of the airline or contact the lost & found centre located at the terminal. 

If you find something, you can hand it over to the employees at the Lost & Found counter. You will find the counter at the arrival or departure levels.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (SVPIA) is named after Sardar Patel, India's first Deputy Prime Minister. It is located in the Hansol region, approximately 10 KM north of Central Ahmedabad. SVPIA is also popularly called Ahmedabad International Airport, and it serves both Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, the capital city of Gujarat. The airport's IATA (International Air Transport Association) code is AMD.

It was the 7th busiest airport in the country in 2019-20 in terms of passenger traffic, which was 11.43 million.
