I took my first balloon ride over the Taj Mahal itself and let me tell you, this was one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. The first rays of light gently caressing its ivory facade transform it into a luminescent masterpiece. The Yamuna River winder its way beneath, adding a tranquil charm to the overall spectacle. Floating over the historic city of Agra, you also get the chance to adore the expanse of the Red Fort and the ancient Minarets. As the balloon gracefully glides over the fertile plains of Uttar Pradesh, you witness the rustic charm of rural life below. There’re patchwork fields, quaint villages and meandering rivers!
Whilst the Agra Experience is a masterpiece, I could also recommend taking one if you’re in the city of Varanasi. Perched on the banks of the sacred Ganges, this city provides a spiritual dimension to your adventurous balloon ride. Hovering above the ghats and temple spires, you could witness the timeless rituals and devotion that define the very essence of the city. The juxtaposition of tradition and modernity that you experience from the skies, add profoundness to your hot air balloon journey.
