Whiskey Sour

Sweet, sour, spirited – that’s Whiskey Sour for you. Whip yourself a classic!


Ingredients
  • 60ml whisky
  • 30ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 30ml simple syrup, ice, and a maraschino cherry (if you can find one!)
  • Start with the freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Add all the ingredients to a shaker and shake well.
  • Add ice and shake again, till it’s chilled.
  • Strain into a glass and add the cherry on top.

Hot Toddy

This nip in the air that we’ve been blessed with lately calls for a warmer one!


Ingredients
  • 60ml whisky
  • 30ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 30ml simple syrup (or honey), hot water, and a lemon wheel.
  • First, warm up your mug with hot water.
  • Once the mug feels warm enough, pour out the water and pour in the ingredients.
  • Stir to mix, and garnish with a lemon wheel.
  • Serve hot, of course!

Scotch and Soda

Can’t say no to some good old Scotch and Soda!


Ingredients
  • Club soda
  • 60ml blended Scotch whisky
  • Ice, and a lemon wedge
  • Start with ice, then pour some whisky and club soda, in that order.
  • Stir and top it off with a lemon wedge.
  • Cheers to you!

Old Fashioned

For those who like it old school, here’s a cocktail that complements your taste.


Ingredients
  • 60ml whiskey
  • 30ml simple syrup, dashes of orange and aromatic bitters (essential for the complexity)
  • 10ml water, ice, orange twist and cherry for garnish.
  • Add ice, whiskey, simple syrup, bitters, and water, in that order, to your glass.
  • Stir to chill, and strain into a glass filled with ice cubes.
  • Add the orange twist and cherry on top.

Irish Coffee

Want to know how to start your weekend on a high note? Well, here’s how.


Ingredients
  • 60ml whiskey
  • 30ml simple syrup, 120 ml freshly brewed hot coffee, and a quarter cup of unsweetened whipped cream
  • Whisk up the whisky and simple syrup in a coffee mug.
  • Pour some freshly brewed coffee on top and stir well.
  • Stir to chill, and strain into a glass filled with ice cubes.
  • Add the whipped cream, et voila! Have a happy weekend. Cheers!
