Situated along the stunning Varca beach, the resort's sheer size—37 acres—meant that my partner and I could always find a tranquil spot for ourselves. Our room, the Zuri deluxe room, was a comfortable haven with a private balcony overlooking the pool and garden. The view of the pool and lush garden provided a sense of tranquillity that was perfect for our romantic getaway. The bathroom was spacious; the rain shower cubicle added a touch of exclusivity too. We loved how the room was designed for relaxation and convenience. The neutral colour palette and tasteful decor created a soothing atmosphere. Waking up to the soft sunlight streaming in through the balcony doors was a great way to start each day of our honeymoon. The room was kept immaculately clean, and the daily housekeeping service ensured we always returned to a welcoming and tidy space. It had all the essentials, including a TV, a mini-bar, and a fruit basket. So, how much does a night here cost? Well, you'll be looking at a tariff of Rs. 9,494, inclusive of breakfast.
The resort offered a wide range of amenities to cater to our every need. The large pool, stretching towards the sea, was one of our favourite areas. We spent lazy afternoons basking in the sun on the comfortable loungers by the poolside. The pool bar was always ready to serve refreshing drinks, and the pool's proximity to the beach made it easy to take a dip in the sea whenever we pleased.
For those who love to stay active, even on vacation, the well-equipped gym provided a great opportunity for a workout. The gym was clean and had modern exercise machines, making it easy to stick to our fitness routine. After a satisfying workout, we enjoyed a relaxing session in the sauna to unwind.
Beyond that, the complimentary broadband access and daily essentials in our room were thoughtful touches. Having access to the internet allowed us to plan our daily activities and explore the local area more effectively. It was these little details that made our experience truly exceptional.
With a diverse range of restaurants on the property, we were spoiled for choice. Our taste buds embarked on a journey of flavours, and each restaurant offered a unique culinary adventure.
One evening, we decided to explore the pan-Asian dishes at Sake. The restaurant, located by the pool, provided a picturesque setting for a romantic dinner. The live Teppanyaki was the highlight, and watching our fare being cooked to perfection in front of us added an exciting element to our dining experience. The sushi, Thai curries, and lively Teppanyaki performance left us thoroughly satisfied.
Another memorable evening was spent at Blue Lagoon, the property's Italian restaurant. The Blue Lagoon Pool Bar is perfect for late-evening lounging or an afternoon with refreshing cocktails. We enjoyed the cool breeze and the sound of water as we indulged in pasta and pizzas at the swim-up bar.
Our culinary journey didn't stop there. The resort's dining options catered to every palate—from Asian to European cuisine. Whether we wanted an enclosed air-conditioned setting, an al-fresco lounge, a cafe with a view of the man-made cascade, or a beach-front seafood restaurant with the Arabian Sea as a backdrop, the resort had it all. You can grab a delectable 10-inch pizza, your choice of toppings, and to make it even better, it comes with a complimentary pint of refreshing Kingfisher beer. And here's the kicker—it's just Rs. 550 per person, inclusive of taxes.
While relaxation was high on our agenda, we couldn't resist a visit to the Deltin Zuri Casino, the only onshore casino in South Goa. Even if you're not an avid gambler, the lively atmosphere and games make it a fun experience. The casino had a range of games, including poker, blackjack, roulette, and slot machines. We decided to try our luck at some of the slot machines. The flashing lights and sounds of the machines added to the excitement. While we didn't win big, the experience was entertaining, and we enjoyed watching other guests try their luck.
After a few days of exploring and indulging in various activities, we decided it was time to pamper ourselves with spa treatments. The MAYA Spa is part of Zuri's signature line of spas and is the perfect place to rejuvenate. Our spa day began with a soothing Ayurvedic massage. The spa's fusion of Ayurvedic and Western-style massages and treatments allowed us to unwind and relax, ensuring that we felt our best. The therapists were skilled and attentive, ensuring that we were comfortable throughout the treatment. The fragrant oils and soothing strokes worked wonders in dissipating the travel-induced tension we carried. For Rs. 4,289, you can treat yourself to an hour of pure relaxation and rejuvenation.
