Your spouse may wish to spend some personal time with you. Planning a vacation may not be easy with so many things to consider.

Pawna Lake is one of the most popular camping sites in Maharashtra. I can vouch for the great experience! It is located about 15 kilometres from Lonavala and 20 kilometres from Kamshet. The ease of access makes it one of the top choices for travellers.
The lake is surrounded by three Maratha forts – Lohagad, Tikona, and Tungi. Many agri-tourism farms have developed around the lake.
You can camp on top of a plateau near Malshej Lake. This camping site is 120 kilometres from both Mumbai and Pune. This is a picturesque location with tall hills on all sides, as you can see here. Various tour operators organize fun night activities at the camping site.

Bhandardara Lake is about 160 kilometres from Pune and Mumbai. As a photographer, I love Bhandardara for the night photography opportunity it provides.
Isn't it wonderful that light pollution is negligible in this place? The reason is that it is in the middle of the hills away from the city lights. I was able to see the milky way galaxy through the naked eye and photograph it easily.
Camping in Bhandardara is certainly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Many tour operators set up camps here. You can enjoy water sports, night tours, star-gazing, and barbecues. Wouldn't you want to skip the fireworks to watch a million stars with your family?
I thoroughly enjoyed kayaking, coracle rides, archery, night treks and swimming at the camp. You can also enjoy bonfires, DJ nights, and team-building activities here. I can assure you that there will not a dull moment here!
Camping at Igatpuri is a great way to ring in the new year with lots of excitement and fun.
