Guide for the First Time Flyer

First time travel in a flight can be an exciting but overwhelming experience. While Adani One ensures your experience is seamless, being well-informed about the steps involved in boarding a flight is essential.

Here is a low-down of how you can easily navigate your first-time flight journey.

Check-in process

STEP 1

First, locate the check-in counter specific to your airline. They are usually located near the terminal entrance, and signs or airport staff can help you find the correct one.

STEP 2

Once you arrive at the check-in counter, you must present your travel documents, like your passport or any other government ID and the flight itinerary, to the airline representative.

STEP 3

After verifying your travel documents, the airline representative will ask you to check your luggage if you have any.

STEP 4

The airline representative will issue your flight boarding pass, along with information on the boarding gate.

STEP 5

Please do not lose or crumple the boarding pass. And, in the case of an electronic boarding pass, just keep it handy at all times.

Security check

STEP 1

You can proceed to the security checkpoint with your flight boarding pass and cabin luggage, if any.

STEP 2

You will need to present your boarding pass and a valid government-issued ID (if asked) at the security checkpoint.

STEP 3

Your carry-on luggage will be screened for prohibited items. Your belongings, like electronic devices, belts, wallets, phones, boots, etc., should also go under the scanner.

STEP 4

Once you have cleared security, you can proceed to the boarding gate indicated on your boarding pass. Ample signs along the way can help you find the correct gate.
